Meet Jo Lucchesi
This is me...
I have always loved taking a flat piece of fabric and making it fit a body. Early in my career, I discovered my love of making for women who couldn't find clothing to fit them off the rack, like me.
For seven years, I had the privilege of working for R.M.Williams Pty Ltd as a Pattern Maker, in the Product Development Department, in Adelaide SA. My boss was an Italian Tailor and he taught me the importance of fit and quality. So grateful.
For twenty seven years, I have been married to the love of my life, Andrew. We are immensely proud of our three sons and the men they have become. Deeply grateful.
For fourteen years, I have dedicated myself to developing my business and serving women. Hearing women's struggles with body changes, body image and clothes shopping has moved me emotionally. It has moved into action, developing sizing, styles and fits, so we as women can feel good about our bodies, our clothing and have a boost of confidence. So we can get dressed and get on with your day.
A beautiful fit to me, means you are showing some shape without revealing it all. It means that you can breathe and not hold your breath. It means you can move and be comfortable and not be afraid of lumps and bumps showing.
It has been a remarkable journey so far...
Much love, Jo

Made to Measure for myself
Fit matters for me too!
I know what it's like to need my clothing Made to Measure, just like many of my customers. Finding clothing to fit & flatter me & to be long enough for my limbs was impossible to find. Until I started making clothing for myself.
My challenges are
- I am six foot tall
- I have a long face, long neck, long arms & long legs
Yes I know, nothing to complain about!
Yet, like most dresses I make for myself, the dress in this photo, is
- one inch lower at neckline to suit my long face & neck
- two inches lower at side drapes for my long arms & legs
- two inches longer for my long legs
- sometimes four inches longer to cover my knees
A note about our Photo Shoots.
I model Fit 1 Classic Fit in Size M unless othwise specified.
